- Decide what you want to happen with the Gmail copy of your emails (e.g., keep Gmail’s copy in the inbox, archive Gmail’s copy, etc.).
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Additional Tips:
- Forward Specific Emails: If you only want to forward certain types of emails, you can create a filter. Go to the search box at the top, click on the down arrow to open search options, enter your criteria, and then click Create filter. Choose Forward it and select the forwarding address.
- Disable Forwarding: To stop forwarding emails, go back to the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab, select Disable forwarding, and save your changes.
